Dear Parents,

As we step into the new year, we are excited to share updates from the Primary Section and upcoming events that highlight the vibrant learning environment we continue to foster for our students.

Settling Back and Great Learning

Our students have settled back into school routines exceptionally well after the winter break. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and curiosity as they engage in various activities and learning opportunities across all grades. We are proud of their hard work and dedication and look forward to more exciting milestones in their learning journey this term.

Grade 5 and 6 Exams

Exams for Grade 5 and 6 will begin on Thursday 16th January. On this day, students will remain in school until the usual dismissal time as it is a half day. On 19th and 20th January they will be leaving after the exams.

Please note that siblings of these students will remain in school and follow their regular schedule until the end of the school day. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth and efficient exam process for all.

Special Guest: Nadhira Al Harthy

This week, we were privileged to host Nadhira Al Harthy, the first Omani woman mountaineer, who met with our Grade 3 students. She shared her incredible journey of conquering some of the highest peaks in the world, speaking about the rigorous training, challenges, and determination it took to achieve her dreams.

Nadhira also spoke about overcoming her fears during her expeditions and inspired the children to set big goals and believe in themselves. Her resilience and encouragement left a lasting impression on our students, motivating them to dream big and persevere.

Upcoming Holiday

In celebration of Sultan’s Ascension Day, the school will be closed on Sunday 12th January. Classes will resume on Monday, 13th January as usual.

We wish you all a happy and restful holiday with your families!
