Dear students, parents and guardians,

As our secondary students at Ellesmere Muscat prepare for their upcoming examinations, we would like to offer a few important reminders to help ensure a smooth and successful exam period. These guidelines are in place to support a calm, organised environment for all students.

  • Punctuality: Students should aim to be at school and present outside their assigned examination rooms at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

  • Attendance Record: Attendance will be taken by the examination invigilators (teachers).

  • Ensuring Completion: Students are encouraged to complete all questions before submitting their exam papers.

  • Paper Collection: Examination papers will be collected at the conclusion of the allocated exam time.

  • Absence Notification: In case of absence or urgent circumstances, parents/guardians should notify the school by calling reception and, where possible, emailing their child’s subject and/or homeroom teacher.

  • Mobile Phones: Mobile phones are strictly prohibited – except in cases where special arrangements have been made.

  • Handling Cheating: Any incidents of cheating will be recorded during the examination. The incident will be reported by members of the examination committee, and appropriate action will be taken – up to and including a mark of zero (“0”) being awarded to any student found to be cheating.

We know that exams can feel stressful, but remember: they are just one part of your learning journey. Stay positive, get plenty of rest, and most importantly… do your best!

We are proud of how hard you have worked and we believe in your abilities. We wish you nothing but the best of outcomes, in shaa Allah!

Best regards,

Mr. Ibrahim Abd Rahman
