Dear Grade 12 students, teachers, parents and guardians,

On Wednesday, May 21, our IBDP students wrote their final examinations, completing the final chapter of their secondary school journey. Our Grade 12 BIL students are now busily preparing for their final MOE examinations, which begin in the second week of June.

Grade 12 IBDP students:
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on completing this final step. I have watched you work diligently over the past two years. From my vantage point, I have witnessed your growth, your resilience, and your unwavering commitment to self-development. Among other things, I hope you view the experience of completing the IB Diploma Programme as a moment to reflect on how significant your personal communities are — your parents, siblings, and peers. When you have a quiet moment, take the time to thank your parents for their dedication to you throughout this journey.

Grade 12 BIL students:
It will soon be your turn to complete your final set of secondary school examinations. I want to remind you that you are capable of achieving great outcomes. Like your IBDP counterparts, you too have undergone a meaningful evolution. I have known many of you since your middle school years and have seen you grow into conscientious young people who possess both the will and the ability to make a positive mark on the world. As your final examinations approach, I encourage you to dig deep, study hard, and remember that your teachers are ready to support you. You are almost there!

Grade 12 teachers:
Thank you for supporting our Grade 12 IBDP students throughout their journey. The process was undoubtedly gruelling at times for our students, and you had to serve as coaches and mentors while guiding them. Your tireless efforts made all the difference. Thank you for staying the course and for continuing to raise the bar with each passing year.

Parents of our Class of 2025:
Whether your child is a Grade 12 IBDP or a Grade 12 BIL student, please know that Ellesmere Muscat is committed to being a school community that nurtures its learners in all spheres of life (e.g., academic, social, and personal). It is my sincere hope that the Class of 2025 achieves a high level of success in their examinations. I also pray that your children are well on the path to becoming the young men and women you envisioned when you first enrolled them in our school.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to this important process. I look forward to celebrating your children’s journey at our Grade 12 Graduation Ceremony on the evening of Wednesday, May 28, in shaa Allah.

Best regards,
Mr. Ibrahim Abd Rahman
