Our primary students are embracing learning with enthusiasm and curiosity! This week brought a range of memorable experiences that support their growth and connect meaningfully to our curriculum.

Our KG children recently enjoyed their very first field trip to the Little Gym. This special outing ties into their unit of inquiry, where they’re learning through movement and play. They practiced motor skills, explored teamwork, and built confidence in a fun, supportive environment. Watching them discover new abilities was lovely!

In Grade 5, students dove into programming as part of their current unit of inquiry. They visited Engineering Village, where they had the chance to program robots and experiment with engineering concepts hands-on. The children had an amazing time and returned with new skills and insights, excited to explore the world of robotics and problem-solving further.

Meanwhile, in Grade 6, students took a deep dive into the study of the human body through a hands-on experiment focused on the heart and lungs. With real lung and heart dissections, they explored the structure and function of these organs, gaining insights into how the respiratory system works to keep us healthy. This eye-opening activity connects to the unit “Who We Are”  and gave students a close look at the human body’s incredible design.

Additionally, several of our school leaders had the opportunity to attend the ISCO Conference, a valuable event in Muscat that brought together over 20 schools. They participated in a wide range of workshops and discussions, gathering innovative ideas and strategies to share with our staff. We’re looking forward to integrating this knowledge into our Thursday afternoon workshops, enriching our educational approaches and benefiting all students.

Looking ahead, our team is hard at work planning a joyful celebration for National Day! We’re excited to come together as a community to honour this special occasion, with activities that highlight our pride and cultural heritage. Parents are warmly invited to join us on this day, from 7:30 AM to 1:45 PM, to celebrate alongside us. It promises to be a meaningful and fun-filled day for all.

Thank you for your ongoing support and enthusiasm for our students’ learning journeys. We’re grateful for our community of parents and families and look forward to seeing you at National Day!
