This week, I had the privilege of visiting our Grade 11 and 12 Business and Biology classes. It was great to see the level of engagement and learning taking place.

In Business, students were exploring organizational structures, applying their understanding to real-world scenarios, in particular the organizational structures we might find within a school in g12 and product and market orientated businesses in g11, making meaningful connections between theory and practice.. Meanwhile, in Biology, students were deep in discussions on cells, cell structure (including the powerhouse of a cell)  It was a reminder of the importance of inquiry-driven learning and the curiosity that fuels deep understanding. It was pleasing to see the level of engagement from many of our students, the willingness in which they engaged in answering questions in order to clarify their understanding.

As we continue through Ramadan, I also want to acknowledge the spirit of reflection, perseverance, and community that defines this special time. It is heartening to see our students and staff supporting one another, balancing their learning with personal and spiritual commitments. Wishing all those observing a peaceful and fulfilling Ramadan.

Thank you to our teachers for creating such enriching learning environments, and to our students for their continued commitment to their learning.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead.
