This week, as part of my role as Head of Teaching and Learning, I had the privilege of observing learning in action across different classrooms. It’s always insightful to see the different ways students engage—some remain enthusiastic and curious, while others, understandably, feel the effects of fasting and fatigue. Teachers have shared that student behavior improves when I am in the room, which is always interesting to hear! It serves as a reminder of the importance of presence, encouragement, and creating the right environment for learning on behalf of teachers but reminds us of the importance of our students also taking responsibility for their learning whether or not an administrator is present.
Beyond the classroom, this week has been a special one in our school community. We came together to celebrate Iftar, sharing a meal that symbolizes unity, reflection, and gratitude. The joy of Karankasho filled the air as children embraced this tradition this morning during assembly and towards the end of the school day. Moments like these remind us that learning goes beyond textbooks; it is about the values we nurture and the connections we build.
Enjoy your weekend.

Mathematics Workshop available during the upcoming break. See details below:

This workshop is curated by Mr.Bhanu Prakash, The World’s Fastest Human Calculator.

We would love to have all the children of your school, Grades 1 to 8, be a part of this wonderful opportunity. Our curriculum has been designed in such a way that it provides a great opportunity for the students of grades 1 to 8 (ages 6 to 14) to refresh and enhance their arithmetical skills after the winter break so that they can start the new term with confidence and new knowledge. We believe that your platform is perfectly suited to connect with young learners globally and help them unlock their mathematical potential using the techniques of the World’s Fastest Human Calculator.
