Dear parents and guardians,
On Wednesday, May 7th, Ellesmere Muscat hosted its inaugural MYP Film Festival. This is a landmark event that showcased the film creation talents of our MYP students!
The Secondary Building’s Ground Floor was transformed into a cinema, with four dedicated screening rooms. Each of the screening rooms featured a specific grade level’s work. There was a range of films, including thoughtful documentaries and engaging short stories. All films were created, directed, and edited by our MYP students.
The day was filled with the buzz of our CAS students’ popcorn machine and students from several grade levels happily shuffling in and out of theaters. Audience members, including primary and secondary students, were engaged and very respectful.
The amazing day concluded with a Hollywood style Film Festival Awards Ceremony in the Secondary Gym, where our most bootable films and creators were given special recognition in from of the Ellesmere Muscat community
