Dear secondary parents and guardians,

Please be informed that our Semester 1 Examinations have begun and will continue in the coming week. Please read the following overview of the examinations that will be written in the coming week and the list of important considerations for parents and guardians to bear in mind.

Grade 7, 8, 9 and 10: Students within the middle school range will write examinations for the following subjects in the coming week: (1) Arabic, (2) Omani Social Studies and (3) Islamic Studies

Grade 11 DP students: Our IB Diploma students will write an examination for the following subject in the coming week: (1) Islamic Studies

Grade 11 BIL students: Our Grade 11 Bilingual Program students will write examinations for the following subjects in the coming week: (1) Mathematics, (2) English Language, (3) Arabic Language, (4) Omani Social Studies, (5) ICT, (6) Chemistry

Grade 12 DP students: Our twelfth grade DP students will continue to write their Pre-Mock examinations. These students will write the following pre-mock examinations in the coming week: (1) Physics, (2) Biology, (3) Computer Science, (4) Business Management, (5) Chemistry 

Grade 12 BIL students: Our Grade 12 Bilingual Program students will write in-school examinations for the following subjects in the coming week: (1) PE, (2) Art 

Examination Attendance:

  • MOE Semester 1 Examinations (Grade 12) – Off Site Examinations: Locations and times for all Grade 12 BIL off site examinations have been forwarded to students and shared with parents, via SMS.
  • MOE Semester 1 Examinations (Grade 7 to 11): All MOE Semester 1 Examinations are scheduled for 8:00 AM. Please ensure that your child attends school by no later than 7:30 AM on examination days, as they will be ushered into their examination halls at approximately 7:45 AM. An attendance record will be taken of each examination.
  • Grade 12 DP Pre-Mock Examinations: Start-times for our Grade 12 DP Pre-Mock examinations are staggered. The schedule has been distributed to students and parents by Mr. Vivek (DP Coordinator). Students should attend the examination hall no later than 30 minutes prior to their examinations.
