شهدت مدرسة السمير الدولية أسبوعًا حافلًا بالفعاليات التعليمية الهادفة التي عززت مهارات الطلبة وأسهمت في تنمية قدراتهم الفكرية والإبداعية. انطلقت الفعاليات بمعرض “من النص إلى المسرح”، التي نظمها قسم اللغات (اللغة العربية، الإنجليزية، الإسبانية)، حيث قدم الطلبة عروضًا أدبية متنوعة، جسدوا من خلالها النصوص بطريقة إبداعية ساعدتهم على تنمية مهاراتهم في التعبير والاتصال والثقة بالنفس.
بعد ذلك، جاءت المسابقة الرمضانية لأفضل كتيب يعكس روح الشهر الفضيل، بمشاركة طلبة التربية الإسلامية الناطقين بغير العربية. وقد أتاحت هذه الفعالية لهم فرصة البحث والاستكشاف حول القيم الإسلامية، مما عزز لديهم مهارات التفكير النقدي والتعاون والعمل الجماعي. وقدمت المجموعات السبعة مشاريع متميزة سلطت الضوء على معاني رمضان وأثره في ترسيخ القيم الأخلاقية والإنسانية.
كما شهد الأسبوع المعرض الرمضاني الذي أقامه قسم التربية الإسلامية بالتعاون مع قسم الدراسات الاجتماعية والرياضة المدرسية، حيث تم عرض أعمال ومشاريع الطلبة التي تعكس روح الشهر الكريم وتعزز قيم التعاون والتسامح والانتماء الثقافي والديني. وقد أسهمت هذه الفعالية في تعميق فهم الطلاب للعادات والتقاليد الإسلامية وربطهم بالهوية الثقافية بأسلوب عملي وتفاعلي.
واختُتمت الفعاليات بتكريم الطلبة الفائزين في المسابقة الرمضانية خلال الطابور الصباحي، حيث تم توزيع الجوائز وشهادات التقدير، إلى جانب طباعة الكتيب الفائز وتوزيعه دعمًا وتشجيعًا للطلبة على الاستمرار في الإبداع والبحث والتعلم الذاتي.
تأتي هذه الفعاليات في إطار حرص المدرسة على توفير بيئة تعليمية ثرية تحفز الطلاب على التفكير والتعبير والتفاعل الإيجابي مع القيم والمعرفة، وتؤكد على أهمية التعلم من خلال التجربة والممارسة العملية، بما يعزز مهاراتهم ويعدهم ليكونوا أفرادًا فاعلين في المجتمع.
In a remarkable atmosphere, Ellesmere Muscat International School witnessed a week filled with educational activities aimed at enhancing students’ skills and fostering their intellectual and creative abilities. The events kicked off with the “From Text to Theater” activity, organized by the Languages Department (Arabic, English, and Spanish), where students presented diverse literary performances, embodying texts in a creative manner that helped them develop their expression, communication, and self-confidence skills.
Following this, the Ramadan competition for the best booklet reflecting the spirit of the holy month took place, with the participation of Islamic Education students who are non-native Arabic speakers. This activity provided students with an opportunity to research and explore Islamic values, enhancing their critical thinking, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Seven groups presented outstanding projects highlighting the significance of Ramadan and its role in instilling ethical and human values.
The week also featured the Ramadan exhibition, organized by the Islamic Education Department in collaboration with the Social Studies Department. The exhibition showcased students’ projects and works that reflected the essence of the holy month and promoted values of cooperation, tolerance, and cultural and religious identity. This initiative contributed to deepening students’ understanding of Islamic traditions and customs while connecting them to their cultural identity in an engaging and interactive way.
The events concluded with an award ceremony for the winners of the Ramadan competition during the morning assembly. Prizes and certificates of appreciation were distributed, and the winning booklet was printed and shared as an encouragement for students to continue their journey of creativity, research, and self-learning.These activities align with the school’s commitment to providing a rich educational environment that motivates students to think, express, and engage positively with values and knowledge.
