Dear Parents & Guardians,
Thank you to everyone who supported our OCA Bake Sale on Tuesday, October 29th!
The event was primarily organized by our Grade 11 and 12 DP CAS students. They invited students to participate by bringing baked goods, candies, chips, and other treats for the bake sale with the intention of donating 100% of the proceeds to the Oman Cancer Association to support cancer patients in need.
When our school community comes together, incredible things happen! Hundreds of students converged on the secondary gymnasium throughout the day with beaming smiles and open hearts. With each treat sold, we moved closer to putting smiles on the faces of cancer patients and their families while spreading hope for a brighter, cancer-free future.
Together, we can make a difference. This is just one of the important lessons that we continue to learn as a community while supporting organizations such as the OCA. Let us continue to espouse the IB Learner Profile trait of Caring through such acts as donating to members of our local community who are in need of support and participating in such events as the Oman Cancer Association Walkathon.
