Position Summary
The Head of Admissions and Marketing at Ellesmere Muscat is integral to our strategic direction and growth, focusing on achieving enrollment targets and enhancing our school community’s cohesion. This role involves leadership that builds strong connections within our team, with parents, and across the broader community. A key aspect of the position is utilizing data and analytics to guide strategies, optimize operations, and achieve measurable successes. The incumbent will champion the importance of extending efforts to convert inquiries into engaged members of our school community.

Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead innovative admissions, grounded in detailed data analysis, to further Ellesmere Muscat’s objectives and competitive standing.
- Admissions Process: Lead the Admissions Manager and the team to refine admission processes, ensuring a personalized and efficient journey for prospective families, highlighting the importance of making them feel valued and informed.
- Community Building: Strengthen ties with our parent body and the local community, notably through enhancing the role and engagement of the Parent Association as vital proponents of the school, leveraging these connections for wider community-based marketing initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Sustain and elevate a culture of excellence within the admissions and marketing teams through focused professional development, mentoring, and data-driven performance evaluations. Build strong and trusting bonds with team members.
- Marketing Execution: Lead in the development and execution of a robust marketing strategy, in collaboration with third-party providers, employing data analytics for custom-tailored messaging and effectiveness assessments.
- Vendor Management: Manage and cultivate relationships with external marketing agencies and vendors, ensuring their services deliver cost-effective, measurable value, underpinned by analytics.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Oversee comprehensive market research and data analysis to inform and adjust strategies as necessary, providing clear and transparent reporting on key performance indicators.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in admissions and/or marketing, with a preference for backgrounds in international education settings.
- Demonstrated ability in leading teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work atmosphere.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders.
