Role Overview

The Deputy Principal will play a critical role in shaping the educational landscape at Ellesmere Muscat, supporting the Principal in the overall management of the school. This position demands a high level of dedication, innovation, and leadership, with a strong focus on maintaining and enhancing the school’s reputation through effective partnership with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Assist in the development and implementation of the school’s strategic initiatives, ensuring they align with international educational standards and local requirements. Lead various aspects of school operations, including curriculum development, teacher supervision, and student welfare.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with the Ministry of Education, parents, and community partners to enhance the educational offerings at the school and ensure compliance with local educational regulations and standards.
• Educational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices, utilizing innovative strategies to enhance academic performance and student engagement across all grades.
• Staff Development: Oversee professional development programs for teaching and administrative staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and adaptation to new educational practices and technologies.
• Operational Management: Manage day-to-day operations in coordination with the Principal, ensuring the smooth functioning of the school and the effective implementation of policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Omani nationality.
• Advanced degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field preffered.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Extensive experience in educational leadership, preferably within an international educational environment.
• Demonstrable success in leading school improvement and delivering educational excellence.
• Strong understanding of the dynamics between local educational authorities, international education standards, and cultural values.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and direct diverse teams.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations with integrity, resilience, and dedication.

Remuneration
